Austin, TX – The United Methodist Development Fund (UMDF) just launched a new website to meet the needs of United Methodists across the United States and its territories. The feature rich website is robust with resources specifically designed to help churches navigate the loan process as well as to assist individuals, churches, and ministries as they consider investing options. It has also been redesigned with precise menu choices, so it is easier to navigate.
One of the biggest overall feature changes was UMDF’s move to custom photography that highlights local church stories and photos from coast to coast. “We believed it was important enough to collect stories of impact and video content that we spent a year diligently capturing the great work UMDF is doing with foundations and churches throughout the country,” UMDF President, Tom Locke shared.
Board members and senior staff believe this transition will be valuable to United Methodists, not only because the user experience will be streamlined with the new site, but also because the richness of the larger church’s work will be on display.
UMDF is a United Methodist organization that offers loans to churches and investment opportunities to churches and individuals. It also uses a significant portion of its net revenue to support the work of the church.
